mad miran

Dutch DJ mad miran, long based in Rotterdam, works on a simple principle: genres are disturbing, she plays vibes. Her sets run through broken beats, bucking basslines, techno, electro and drum and bass, with archival rave records cut in alongside new music, and her mixes for the c- series and for Ilian Tape show how wide that range goes. She has broadcast on Red Light Radio and toured as far as India, with dates in Delhi, Bombay and Bangalore. At Dekmantel Festival her back-to-back with stranger in the UFO, built on 90s loop techno, breaks and rave nostalgia, was later released as a recording, and she later played the festival alongside Quest.
