Miami-based Nick León dips into the wild side of Latin club culture whenever he steps up. He takes Florida-born bass, fuses it with Puerto Rican and Colombian rhythms and finishes it with warehouse-ready energy that makes the floor sweat. It is dystopian in atmosphere and jumps from genre to genre at whim. Chaotic as that sounds, León has the skills to hold it all together with tropical textures and dark, dance-driven excess.
