Even if he came through synonymous with Bristol dubstep, Peverelist has always been a non-conformist pushing the possibilities of bass-heavy, stripped back soundsystem music. At the helm of Livity Sound he has helped incubate a truly adventurous sound that folds techno, jungle, house, dub and much more into inquisitive, ear-catching sonics. His own productions have been on searing, rejuvenating form with the Pulse series, and his DJ sets follow a similar path of rude enlightenment spanning early bleep techno to recent UK funky, wayward breakbeat and shimmering techno alike.
