Vlada

Vlada was born in Russia and has lived in Berlin for many years, playing clubs around the world since the age of eighteen. Her sets are built on a long, winding mixing style and hypnotic basslines that slowly pull the room into focus, threading acid flashes, bright synths, broken beats and stark industrial and metallic textures through a techno frame. Her Dekmantel Podcast captured that approach, moving from a meditative pace into sharper gear shifts and technical mixing. Resident Advisor has twice picked her sets as Mix of the Day, one of them recorded live at RALLY festival, and she has played festivals such as No Bounds in Sheffield.
