amz

South African-born, Amsterdam-based amz is a Dekmantel debutant who's always on the move between DJ booths, radio shows, events and wider underground music culture. Playing across amapiano, gqom, club and dub-heavy rhythms, her sets put femme voices front and centre, often weaving playful vocals and nostalgic anthems into storytelling trips that hit beyond the mix. As co-founder of the platform1 collective and with her Femme FM series, amz's deep digs champion emerging talent and sounds from home with serious bass pressure.
