Mia Koden & Chunky

Sound system disciple Mia Koden is back for a third consecutive year, but this time links with debutant Chunky. Koden's murky, magnetic fusions of dub, 140, electro and steppas throb with a unifying low-end sound. Playing old, new, and whatever in-between, she can tear up main stages or sweaty back rooms alike, and Manchester's Chunky will be a perfect foil. He's been resident MC for Swamp 81 and Hessle Audio parties but also lays down pensive bars on his own grimy rap rhythms on labels like Eglo. As a DJ, he plays seriously weighty selections, so bassbins will be pushed to the max.
