Ottagone
Day & Night Program
Carving an entire club music ecosystem out of his tangled network of aliases, Steef Mensink found time to cultivate a peerless strain of lean and deadly dub techno as Ottagone. The artist otherwise known as Frits Wentink, Yaleesa Hall and other buy-on-sight aliases slips out his new projects with a minimum of fuss, letting the music do the talking. In the case of Ottagone, three essential archives of driving, dirty and deep-as-hell workouts have landed in the past year, so this set comes flagged as urgent for all serious dub techno heads.
