Slowfoam

Slowfoam is where nature gets weird and electronics get warped. Berlin-based composer and DJ Madelyn Byrd flips field recordings, glitchy textures, aquatic drones and wonky percussion into surreal, shape-shifting soundscapes that blur the line between organic and digital. Behind the decks, they lean into the unexpected while threading intricate rhythms and flashes of fragile beauty into something playful yet deeply immersive. With five acclaimed albums to their name, Slowfoam makes leftfield sound feel alive while taking you gloriously out of orbit.
