shoplifter

Operating in the beating heart of the Belgian underground, shoplifter has a proven track record threading together outsider dance music with a dubwise undercurrent. Her Dekmantel Selectors debut comes off the back of a rising presence on the European festival and club circuit, not least pushing crooked rhythms and immersive headspaces across the Low Countries. In these genre fluid times, there's a satisfying clarity to the sound shoplifter pursues whether the tempo is low and snaking or swift and sprightly. Expect an abundance of dynamic percussion and meditative moods when she brings her distinctive sound to Selectors.
