Roska

Selectors debutant Roska has really put the fun in funky for the last 20 years. Working across house and mutated strains of bass, the South Londoner's signature skippy drum patterns have kept global floors bumping. Once an MC and now a producer, DJ, mentor and label owner, he roams between stripped-back, percussion-driven rollers and more club-influenced vocal creations, always with a heavyweight rhythmic punch. Legend, genre pioneer- call him what you want, but don't miss him.
