Carlos Souffront

A firm fixture in the evolution of Dekmantel, we've been proud to host Detroit's own Carlos Souffront since the early days of the festivals. His reputation is forged on everything Selectors stands for, revered for his unfathomable record collection and the way he weaves together wild, disparate sounds and makes it sound natural. Grubby, edgy cuts you've never heard before spanning techno, wave, post-punk and electro, guaranteed to get trainspotters worked up while the party people get low down and nasty, every set from Carlos feels like a rogue expedition into uncharted territory with the baddest DJ around for a guide, and it's so much fun coming along for the ride.
